Institute for Computational Medicine Openings for Principal Investigators
NYU School of Medicine is hiring tenure-track assistant professors for the new Institute for Computational Medicine.
Directed by Itai Yanai, PhD, the institute is a hub for computational approaches to medical challenges through basic science. We occupy brand-new wet and dry laboratories designed to foster collaborative and innovative research.
Our focus is on research in cancer biology, host–pathogen interactions, adaptive immune systems, and population health. We seek colleagues who investigate these areas of biomedicine by utilizing mathematical modeling, big data analytics, large-scale data integration, and evolutionary and systems-level vantage points.
The successful candidate earns a primary appointment in a relevant NYU Langone Health department and can participate in multiple graduate programs. Principal investigators are expected to lead their own research and foster collaborations at NYU Langone.
To apply, you must submit all application materials, including letters of recommendation, by October 15, 2018.
