Skirball Institute Annual Retreat
The 2019 Annual Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine retreat will be held on October 28–30 at the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, New York.
The purpose of this retreat is to bring together Skirball Institute faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students within the Genome Integrity, Cellular Dynamics, Metabolic Signaling, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry programs; and invited speakers from throughout NYU Langone to discuss recent advances in research, to discover synergies among research programs, and to encourage scientific communication and collaboration.
Please note that the annual retreat is limited to members/personnel of the Skirball Institute, the Department of Cell Biology, and invited guests.
Bus transportation by Academy Bus Services to Mohonk, leaving from in front of NYU Langone Medical Center at 9:00AM sharp, will be available. Information about departure time, location, and bus assignments will be emailed to those taking the bus. Directions are available for those who will be driving directly to Mohonk.
Retreat Registration Form
All participants planning to attend must complete the online retreat registration form between June 17, 2019, and July 22, 2019; registrations will not be accepted or changed after this end date. It is strongly recommended that you have already picked a roommate(s) and indicate the person's name upon registration. Otherwise, a roommate(s) will be assigned to you. Also, please make sure that the person(s) you have selected is absolutely attending the retreat and is also registered. Please note that any cancellations after July 22, 2019, except for emergencies, or no-shows at the retreat will result in the PI's account being charged.
Poster Registration Form
There will be two poster review sessions at the retreat, and awards will be given for the best posters.
Whether or not you plan to present a poster, you must complete the online poster registration form. The deadline for submission of title and other information to be included in the poster registration list to ensure that we have the proper amount of poster boards is July 22.
Please note that poster printing is no longer handled by media services and is now processed through NYU Langone’s print shop (a Kerberos ID and password are required to see details about printing).
