LGBTQMed, also referred to as QMed, is a student organization that is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students, particularly those who identify as LGBTQ+. QMed focuses on education and advocacy programming, as they relate to medical education and addressing health disparities among LGBTQ+ communities. LGBTQMed welcomes all interested students.

American Medical Student Association: Gender & Sexuality Action Committee
The Gender & Sexuality Committee is dedicated to combating sexism, heterosexism, and patriarchal discrimination to ensure equal access to medical care and medical education. We are student leaders who are passionate about supporting the health of people with uteruses and the LGBTQIA+ communities through advocacy efforts, research, and amplifying voices of the medically marginalized.
