NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) is responsible for oversight of the animal care and use program and its components, as described in the National Institutes of Health’s “Public Health Service Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals” and the National Research Council of the National Academy of Sciences’ Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals.
