NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Inhalation Exposure Core provides services to support scientists in conducting noncancer-related and cancer-related rodent species research using carcinogenesis models and carcinogen administration.

The Inhalation Exposure Core is a satellite facility of NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Central Animal Facility and Division of Comparative Medicine, which is accredited by the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International. The research carried out at this facility is partially funded by NYU Langone’s Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cancer Center.

Our core provides researchers with veterinary care, supervision, and oversight for inhalation experiments with rodent species. We offer experimental design, research facilities, animal care, and technical assistance for the delivery and monitoring of carcinogens, toxic chemicals (both gases and particles), infectious agents, and interventional compounds through inhalation exposure.
