Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center Resources for Researchers

NYU Langone’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center offers a wide array of research resources to our investigators, as well as those at affiliated or collaborating institutions. These include the following:

  • subjects: access to well-diagnosed research subjects for participation in studies
  • data: a longitudinal database of aging subjects, including imaging, biochemistry, and psychosocial data, as well as genetic and genomic data
  • biospecimens: blood and cerebrospinal fluid samples from current volunteers, as well as brain tissue and a comprehensive database of clinical and biochemical data from participants in our Brain Donation Program

Researchers who wish to use our resources in their studies must submit a request. Requests are accepted on a rolling basis and evaluated in the context of resource availability, scientific quality and feasibility of the proposed study, and the potential for duplication or conflicts with previous or current studies.

Investigators requesting resources agree to maintain strict subject confidentiality and adherence to rules governing the use of human subjects and tissue or DNA in accordance with that National Institutes of Health and NYU Langone Health guidelines.
