At the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, training clinicians and researchers to be innovative leaders in mental health, educating the public, and eliminating the stigma surrounding mental illness are central to our mission.

Our Advanced Training programs, which include a variety of graduate and post-doctoral studies, are among the most competitive in the world.

One of our many innovations in education is the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies (CAMS) undergraduate college minor at NYU, the first of its kind in the country.
