Psychology Interns

The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (consisting of Child Study Center and the Bellevue Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry) hosts the Child and Adolescent Psychology Track offered by the NYU-Bellevue Clinical Psychology Internship Program.

The Child and Adolescent Psychology Track was initiated in the 1997-1998 training year and offers an outstanding opportunity for interns who wish to pursue specialized training in clinical and adolescent psychology. The program provides concentrated training with children, adolescents, young adults and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Interns are supervised and mentored by faculty of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and serve on the clinical staffs of both the Child Study Center and Bellevue Hospital. In addition to diverse clinical experience with inpatients and outpatients, and opportunities to specialize in focused, research-based treatment modalities and assessment techniques, interns are also provided with a rich and extensive didactic program to augment the practical training.
