IDEAS Center

The Center for Implementation and Dissemination of Evidence-based Practices in States (IDEAS Center) is focused on the advancement of implementation science in behavioral health systems serving children, adolescents and their families.  Implementation and dissemination research focuses on how the best evidence-based practices in children’s behavioral health can be more efficiently and effectively put to use in a way that they will ultimately benefit the greatest number of children and families.

Funded by a combination of support from the National Institute of Mental Health (including a P30 Center grant) and New York State Office of Mental Health, the mission of the IDEAS Center is to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state roll-outs of evidence-based practices (EBPs) and quality improvement initiatives (QI).
