In the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Langone Health, we are dedicated to providing high-quality clinical care, to training the next generation of leaders in the field, and to conducting innovative research.
Our department offers physicians-in-training exposure to obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound, management of menopause, obstetrics and gynecology infectious disease, maternal–fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, gynecologic oncology, family planning, and urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. We provide comprehensive medical student education, a four-year residency program in obstetrics and gynecology, and fellowships in gynecologic oncology, maternal–fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery.
Our physician–scientists pursue obstetric and gynecologic behavioral and population health research in topics ranging from sexual violence to gynecologic cancer. Translational laboratory research projects include exploring amniotic fluid stem cells and the role of estrogen in neuroendocrinology. We also conduct clinical trials in maternal–fetal health, postmenopausal health, family planning, urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery, and gynecologic cancer.
Our educational and research activities provide a solid foundation for a broad range of clinical services and reflect our mission of improving the health of women during all stages of life.

Our Locations
We offer clinical services and physician training opportunities at the majority of our locations. Our department spans NYU Langone’s Tisch Hospital and Kimmel Pavilion, NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, and NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island. We also serve patients at the Women’s Health Clinic and labor and delivery service at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue.
We serve an economically and culturally diverse population at the Women’s Health Clinic and labor and delivery service at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. Our department is also affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Gouverneur and NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull.
Our many specialized locations include the Maternal–Fetal Medicine at NYU Langone Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates, the Ultrasound Unit—OB/GYN, the NYU Langone Fertility Center, and the Endometriosis Center.
We provide gynecologic oncology services and conduct cancer research at NYU Langone’s Perlmutter Cancer Center, NYU Langone Ambulatory Care Center East 38th Street, and the Alexandria Center for Life Science. We also collaborate closely with the Robotic Surgery Center.
Our many practice locations include NYU Langone Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates, NYU Langone OB/GYN Associates—Midwood, NYU Langone Brooklyn OB/GYN Associates—60th Street, and NYU Langone Brooklyn OB/GYN Associates—4th Avenue.
We have research laboratories at Bellevue, NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island, and NYU Langone Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates.
