NYU Langone Biostatistics Symposium
The NYU Langone Biostatistics Symposium aims to highlight and celebrate modern methods and applications in biostatistics. Lectures are given by international experts in the annual theme topic. Junior scholars, including students and post-doctoral fellows are encouraged to participate.
Advances in Causal Inference Methods
The Division of Biostatistics hosted its inaugural NYU Langone Biostatistics Symposium on Friday, October 25, 2024, titled "Advances in Causal Inference Methods." The hybrid event welcomed about 200 attendees from across the United States. It featured prominent speakers on topics such as real world data, causal inference methods, and Bayesian approaches. The convening highlighted modern methods and applications in biostatistics. Dr. Elizabeth Stuart, Professor and Chair of Biostatistics at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, served as the keynote speaker.
