PhD Training

Within NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Vilcek Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences, our PhD Program in Biostatistics leverages training in theory, application, and robust research experiences and examples from population health and medicine. Students are mentored by our division faculty.

Postdoctoral Training

Faculty in the Division of Biostatistics train postdoctoral fellows to advance scientific knowledge by innovating biostatistical methods and theories and implementing them across the entire spectrum of basic, clinical, and translational biomedical research. Postdoctoral fellows develop novel methods in biostatistics, epidemiology, and informatics through their work in collaborative teams and as independent investigators. Postdoctoral fellows have gone on to successful careers in academia, government, and industry.

Certificates, Workshops, and Medical Trainees

Our faculty teach biostatistics courses for second-year medical school students, as well as programming for fellows and junior faculty in the Clinical and Translational Science Institute.

Sponsored Certificate in Translational Research and online learning programs. We also arrange special lectures and workshops for departments and centers at NYU Langone.
