Certificate in Translational Research

The Certificate in Translational Research Program provides foundational training in clinical and translational research methods to healthcare professionals at NYU Langone and its NYC Health + Hospitals affiliates.

Our faculty are drawn from NYU Grossman School of Medicine, NYU College of Global Public Health, and NYU Graduate School of Arts and Science.

As part of this nine-credit certificate program, you complete two required courses—Clinical Research Methods and Introduction to Biostatistical Analysis—and select electives from the translational research concentration in our MS in Clinical Investigation. When you complete the program, you receive a New York State–approved Certificate in Translational Research.

If you are a medical student at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and are starting a dedicated research year, you may also be eligible to participate.

How to Apply

Applicants must submit a completed Certificate in Translational Research program application, a CV, a personal statement describing career plans beyond the certificate program, a financial statement regarding payment for the program, and a recent photograph to program manager Claudia Galeano at claudia.galeano@nyulangone.org.
