NYU Grossman School of Medicine offers a variety of PhD and master’s-level degree programs in population health and related fields.
PhD Training Programs
We offer the following PhD training programs.
Biostatistics PhD Training Program
The Biostatistics PhD Training Program provides interdisciplinary instruction and research opportunities in statistical theory and methods in the biological sciences.
Epidemiology PhD Training Program
The Epidemiology PhD Training Program provides mentoring and training in the theory and methods of epidemiology, including study design, measurement, and causal inference, to examine the distribution and determinants of health in human populations.
Population Health PhD Training Program
The Population Health PhD Training Program offers interdisciplinary instruction and research opportunities addressing the burden and multilevel determinants of health and health disparities in defined populations.
Master’s Degree Training Programs
We offer several master’s degree training programs in population health and related fields, including an MS in Clinical Investigation (MSCI) with a concentration in translational research, healthcare delivery science, health disparities and health equity research, and comparative effectiveness and implementation research.
Several of our department faculty teach and provide mentorship to candidates in the MPH and MA in bioethics programs at NYU College of Global Public Health.
