Ongoing research within the NYU Division of Translational Medicine encompasses several major areas:

  • inflammation and immune-modulating drugs
  • wound healing and agents designed to enhance wound healing
  • hepatic cirrhosis and its therapy
  • angiogenesis and atherosclerosis
  • new therapies for the treatment of cancer
  • pathways linking perceived stress and altered immunity

In addition, the Division has undertaken numerous research collaborations with other divisions within the Department of Medicine, including:
