Department of Neuroscience
The Department of Neuroscience is the home of leading basic neuroscience research at NYU Langone Health. We are a team of world class neuroscientists who make the fundamental discoveries that push our understanding of brain and nervous system function and foster the next generation of scientific leaders. We work in close alliance with the Institute for Translational Neuroscience as we move the discoveries of the lab to treatments in the clinic.
Our dynamic educational programs place PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, and research associates in state-of-the-art labs alongside influential faculty scientists.
Through our events series, we connect researchers across NYU Langone and bring neuroscience into our local communities.
