Brain Injury Medicine Fellowship

The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine offers a one year ACGME accredited brain injury medicine fellowship program. The incumbent will receive training in brain injury medicine on the inpatient units at the NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital and at the renowned Bellevue Hospital Center and outpatient services at the state-of-the art Ambulatory Care Center as well as Bellevue Hospital Center. He or she will also have an opportunity to experience the interdisciplinary focus of brain injury rehabilitation with other disciplines within rehabilitation medicine (eg. physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language pathology) as well as receive exposure to neurosurgery, neuro-optometry and neurology.

The fellow participates in journal clubs, concussion conferences, board relevant brain injury lectures and teaches residents and medical students.

Admissions Process

Please submit your application through ERAS.  The program is also participating in the NRMP match this year.

The application deadline for the 2020-2021 academic year has passed.  Applications will be accepted for the 2021-2022 academic year in the summer of 2020.  The deadline for completed applications to be submitted for consideration will be September 15, 2020
