Resources for Prospective & Current Study Participants
Being part of a study that finds a better way to prevent or cure a disease can help millions of people while giving you access to the newest ways to improve your own health and wellbeing.
If you’re thinking about enrolling in a trial or study for the first time, you probably have questions about the different types of clinical research and what participation entails. If you decide to become a study participant, we can connect you with researchers who are conducting a trial or study to explore new treatments that may help you.
If you’re already part of a study, it’s important for you to know your rights and share your questions or concerns with people doing the study.
Become a Study Participant
If you’re interested in being part of a study, there are three ways to find what best fits your needs:
- NYU Langone Clinical Research Studies Databases: Use our Clinical Trials and Research Studies search or our Cancer Clinical Trials and Research Studies search to find active studies by condition or investigator.
- ResearchMatch: ResearchMatch can connect you with researchers studying health conditions that interest you.
- ClinicalTrials.gov: NYU Langone is part of many studies on clinicaltrials.gov even though we might not be mentioned immediately. Include location, condition, and treatment for a complete search.
