NYU-Regeneron Veterinary Postdoctoral Training Program in Laboratory Animal Medicine
NYU Langone Health and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. are proud to offer an American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM)–recognized three-year postdoctoral training program in laboratory animal medicine. Our training program is led by eight ACLAM-boarded veterinarians and one American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP)–boarded veterinary pathologist. The two participating institutions contribute to a dynamic curriculum that provides postdocs with the opportunity to work with a wide variety of species; gain an appreciation of the organizational, managerial, and operational differences between three distinctly different research institutions; and gain a broad understanding of the differences between academia and industry. Our combined experience comprehensively prepares the next generation of laboratory animal veterinarians for the many career paths available in the field. Graduates of American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA)–accredited schools of veterinary medicine, with a strong interest in laboratory animal medicine, are encouraged to apply through the Veterinary Internship and Residency Matching Program (VIRMP).
