Fray F. Marshall, M.D.

Dr. Marshall is currently Professor and Chairman of Urology at Emory University School of Medicine a position he has held for the last 11 years. Prior to joining Emory he was with Johns Hopkins Hospital for 22 years. While at Johns Hopkins he held the positions of Professor of Urology and Oncology, and Director of the Division of Adult Urology. He also served as Chief of Urology at Baltimore City Hospitals in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Marshall completed his internship in surgery and his assistant residency in surgery at the University of Michigan. He completed his residency in urology at Harvard University at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.

Dr. Marshall has authored and co-authored over 300 medical and scientific manuscripts and book chapters and has lectured at national and international meetings. He has been a visiting professor and invited guest lecturer at universities, national symposia, international events, and has appeared on national and international media. Distinguished honors received include the 2000 Distinguished Contributor Award from the AUA for outstanding contribution to the science and practice of urology. Dr. Marshall was the 1997 First incumbent of the Bernard L. Schwartz Distinguished Professorship in Urologic Oncology at Johns Hopkins. He is a member of the American Association of Genitourinary Surgeons, the Clinical Society of Genitourinary Surgeons, the American Board of Urology, and the American Urological Association where he has held many positions. Dr. Marshall is the present editor of the American Urological Association Update Series.
