Fellowship in Pain Medicine

Dear Candidate:

On behalf of the attending physicians of the Center for the Study and Treatment of Pain at NYU Langone Health, I thank you for considering NYU Langone for your fellowship in Pain Medicine.

The Center for the Study and Treatment of Pain offers a 12-month fellowship in multidisciplinary Pain Medicine.  The Department of Anesthesiology at NYU Langone Medical Center is responsible for the only ACGME-approved Pain Medicine program at NYU Langone and works closely with the Departments of Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Psychiatry to review the program’s resources and its attainment of its goals and objectives.

Our program accepts six fellows annually and runs from July 1 through June 30.  Fellows who complete their training are eligible to take the American Board of Anesthesiology Special Qualifications Certifications in Pain Medicine, provided they are board certified in their primary specialty.

I invite you to review our website for a detailed description of the fellowship.  If you wish to apply, you will need to register with the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) application process and the application itself online.  If you have additional questions, please review the Frequently Asked Questions page and feel free to contact us.  I wish you the best of success in your career in Pain Medicine.
