NYU Langone’s Institute for Excellence in Health Equity programs are designed to train students, residents, employees, and faculty to include health equity in their daily practice. We partner with leaders within NYU Langone to ensure health equity is understood system wide.

Our Summer Health Equity Seminar Series gives interns, fellows, and study team members the opportunity to learn about health equity principles and practices from current experts. The series is held annually.

The Summer Health Equity Journal Club provides a forum for interns and early-career scientists to receive didactic instruction in the field of health equity and current state of core aspects of the field, including social determinants of health and the political, social, and economic impacts of health outcomes for underserved, low-resourced communities.
