Each year, NYU Langone’s Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology collaborates with the Department of Surgery to presents its medical–surgical Big Gut Seminars series. These events are certified for continuing medical education (CME) and maintenance of certification (MOC) credits. They are focused on complex gastrointestinal and liver disease and feature national and international speakers, an interactive format of rapid-fire didactic lectures, discussion of clinical issues and controversies in care, and multidisciplinary complex case presentation and discussion.
