Division of Rheumatology Education
NYU Langone’s Division of Rheumatology is committed to training rheumatologists to assume nationally recognized leadership positions, provide the finest patient care, and make significant contributions in basic and clinical research.
Fellowship Program
At the heart of our educational mission is our long-standing fellowship program. Our fellows receive training in both clinical rheumatology and rheumatology research from our exceptional faculty and have filled leadership posts in rheumatology at academic institutions nationwide.
Continuing Medical Education
We also recognize the importance of ongoing medical education in a constantly changing field. Our comprehensive continuing medical education program welcomes participants from multiple medical specialties and includes special courses, seminars, and grand rounds.
Medical Student & House Staff Education
Our medical student education includes a preclerkship, as part of NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Core Principles of Medicine, a rheumatology elective, and a rheumatology research elective. Our faculty also help lead a musculoskeletal medicine selective. Our faculty also offer lectures and conferences as part of the medical student didactic curriculum and offer their expertise in subspecialty rounds.
