Endoscopic Ear Surgery & Cochlear Implantation Temporal Bone Dissection CME Course

The Division of Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery, part of NYU Langone’s Department of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery, is proud to offer a comprehensive two-day continuing medical education (CME) course for practicing otolaryngologists and otolaryngology residents and fellows that provides a contemporary review of and instruction in the latest techniques in ear surgery.

The course emphasizes advanced techniques for adult and pediatric middle ear and temporal bone surgery and includes challenging anatomic cases. Techniques covered include innovations in endoscopic ear surgery, tympanoplasty, ossicular chain reconstruction, mastoidectomy, and cochlear implantation.

Participants complete dissections during hands-on sessions in the laboratory and use microscopes and endoscopes to apply strategies and techniques. You receive instruction on the following topics:

  • Tympanoplasty: How to Win Every Time
  • Endoscopic Tympanoplasty and Ossiculoplasty
  • Endoscopic Management of Cholesteatoma
  • Cochlear Implantation: From Basics to Advanced Techniques for Challenging Anatomy

NYU School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation Statement

NYU School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 14.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
