Each year, the Hansjörg Wyss Department of Plastic Surgery presents the Blair O. Rogers Research Symposium, at which our fellows and residents present their research findings to a visiting professor. We encourage medical students participating in our summer research program to prepare abstracts for presentation at the meeting.

In 2018, we hosted Richard Redett, MD, co-director of the brachial plexus clinic at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and associate professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Students from our department presented research data on aesthetic and craniofacial surgery, breast reconstruction, microsurgery, general surgery, hand surgery, and basic science.
