Bellevue/NYU Occupational Environmental Medicine Clinic

The Bellevue/NYU Occupational Environmental Medicine Clinic, part of the Department of Population Health’s Division of Epidemiology and the Department of Medicine’ s Division of Environmental Medicine at NYU Langone, is a comprehensive occupational health program dedicated to improving the health of workers in New York City. We accomplish this through emphasis on early recognition, accurate diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment and prevention of work-related conditions. We aim to provide the highest-quality occupational health services to workers in New York City, regardless of ability to pay.

Our services for workers and businesses include medical evaluations, workplace industrial hygiene evaluations, and occupational health education programs. We offer examinations in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese, Italian, and French. Our clinic at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue accepts most health insurance and workers’ compensation when appropriate. We offer a sliding fee scale for other cases.

The Bellevue/NYU Occupational Environmental Medicine Clinic is the only occupational and environmental medicine clinic in the New York City public hospital system. We are one of eight regional occupational health centers established by the New York State Department of Health Occupational Health Clinic Network. Our clinic is associated with the World Trade Center Health Program Clinical Center of Excellence.
