Medical Ethics Visiting Scholar Program
The Visiting Scholar Program in NYU Langone’s Division of Medical Ethics offers scholars from other institutions the opportunity to work on their research or other programmatic work with our team of faculty and researchers in New York City. As a visiting scholar, you can spend from one week to three months working with us on one of the division’s broad areas of research interests including research ethics, expanded access, sports ethics, transplantation ethics, and clinical ethics.
Visiting scholars have a desk at the Division of Medical Ethics and administrative and travel planning support. We do not provide funding for lodging or transportation.
Eligibility and Application
Visiting scholars must submit a résumé, a work plan, and one letter of recommendation. Please describe your proposed visiting period, financial arrangements to cover your stay, and your nationality/visa status. An NYU committee chaired by David J. Alfandre, MPH, reviews all applications.
