Agora: The Arts and Literature Magazine of NYU School of Medicine
Agora is NYU School of Medicine’s annual student arts and literature magazine. Deriving its title from the ancient Greek word meaning “marketplace”—the heart of a city’s life—Agora provides a forum for students to publish in a variety of genres, including poetry, short story, personal essay, photography, and drawing.
Published by the Master Scholars Program in Humanistic Medicine, each issue has a common theme and is available in print and ebook formats. To request a print copy of the latest issue, email Katie Grogan Maullon, DMH, associate director, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Participants in the program can view the latest issue of Agora as an ebook or PDF through their NYU School of Medicine-issued iPad Mini (a Kerberos ID and AirWatch device enrollment are required).
