Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Training Program

New York University Langone Medical Center has a long history of training outstanding leaders in the field of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.  The goals of our fellowship training program are: to provide our fellows with diverse and robust clinical training, to provide training in clinical, translational and bench research, and most importantly, to develop and mentor the future leaders in pulmonary and critical care medicine.  We are looking for the strongest possible candidates for fellowship training and are interested in future clinicians, clinical and bench researchers.

Location & Main Hospital Centers

The NYU Langone fellowship program in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine builds upon the rich clinical and research programs at the three main hospital centers (Tisch Hospital, Bellevue Hospital, and the Manhattan VA), as well as additional clinical programs at Elmhurst Hospital and the Hospital for Joint Diseases (HJD).

Accreditation

Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the fellowship program accepts 7-8 fellows each year. The three year program is designed to meet eligibility requirements for both pulmonary and critical care medicine boards and to train graduates for a career of their choosing in pulmonary and critical care medicine. The program consists of two years of clinical training with a third year dedicated to research. A diverse patient care experience is combined with an extensive curriculum using didactics, case-based learning, and simulation to foster a world-class learning environment.
