Student National Medical Association
The mission of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) is to support current and future underrepresented minority medical students with chapters at medical schools throughout the country, including NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Learn how the association helps to increase the number of students of color who are entering and completing medical school. To get involved in SNMA, or if you have any questions, please contact Sarah Khalil, program manager for recruitment and retention, at Sarah.Khalil@NYULangone.org.
Annual Medical Education Conference
Every year the Office of Diversity Affairs (ODA) recruits diverse and talented prospective medical students and trainees at the SNMA Annual Medical Education Conference (AMEC). We also host a sponsored reception, featuring a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) panel highlighting a few of our outstanding faculty and house staff.
