Rusk Rehabilitation International Observership Program

Dear Observership Candidate:

NYULMC Rusk Rehabilitation welcomes requests from around the world for physicians to visit our institution. We enjoy an outstanding international reputation for interdisciplinary education, research, and patient care across all areas of rehabilitation medicine.

Observers spend time on our facilities to learn both clinical processes and new advancements in rehabilitation research, as well as participate in classroom courses and lectures.  Through this approach, visiting physicians will be exposed to our renowned and highly distinguished rehabilitation physicians and practices. Rusk Rehabilitation believes that an important goal of international collaborations is to exchange knowledge and develop and maintain relationships with physicians from around the world. We hope that our program will offer knowledge and insight into the layers and complexities of our leading rehabilitation care. Continued dialogue will yield better and more comprehensive care across the world in the realm of rehabilitation medicine.

The visiting physician must be either a practicing physician, a resident in training or medical student. The observer must also have a command of the English language, and will be evaluated during a phone interview. We look forward to learning more about you during the observership application process.

Sincerely,

Alex Moroz, MD

Vice-Chair of Education
