A judge has approved the use of a "truth serum" interview in the case of accused Colorado shooter James Holmes. However, Arthur Caplan, PhD, points out that truth serum does not truly exist. It is mostly a product of Hollywood imagination. It will not help to determine whether Holmes was sane or not during the shootings.
