Formal Academic Collaborations
The Critical Care and Resuscitation Research Program at NYU Langone welcomes collaborations with other researchers and institutions to find new perspectives and opportunities to expand upon our scientific work.
Ongoing and past collaborations have led to opportunities to learn from other disciplines as well as work with different institutions and patient populations both in the U.S. and abroad.
The Parnia Lab is actively working on several studies that are open to institutional collaborations:
- AWARE II (AWAreness during REsuscitation)
- A Pilot Study Examining Conscious Awareness and Cognitive Experiences During Deep Hypothermic Circulatory Arrest
- A Mixed Methods Study of the Experiences and Psychological Consequences of Adult Cardiac Arrest
- Children’s Awareness and Long-Term Quality of Life: A Mixed Methods Study of Pediatric Critical Care Unit (PICU) Experiences
