Surgery Selectives

The Selectives in surgery are month-long clinical and basic science experiences which allow students to combine a traditional clinical rotation with an in-depth exposure to the basic science foundations of surgical disease. The New York University School of Medicine offers Selectives to students enrolled in LCME-accredited schools who meet visiting student elective requirements. Current Selectives in surgery include:

NOTE: If you are a medical student from an LCME-accredited school of medicine who is interested in a visiting rotation in surgery at NYU, please contact Lydia Cassard for details and availability.
