Genetic Evaluations

Genetic evaluations help determine the chance that you or your family may have a genetic condition. During a genetic evaluation appointment you will meet with a medical geneticist, a subspeciality physician with advanced genetics training, a genetic counselor, or both.

The focus of the appointment varies by specialty, though key information obtained includes your medical and family history. A physical examination may be also performed. If you are pursuing genetic testing, your testing options will be reviewed.
