Reproductive Ethics & Policy Research Program

Reproductive health encompasses a broad range of areas including fertility, pregnancy, contraception, family building, reproductive choice, genetic diagnosis, sexuality, and sexual health. In partnership with community members on engagement in clinical care, research, education, and advocacy, the Reproductive Ethics & Policy Research Program (REPRo) strives to unite theoretical and applied perspectives on ethics to provide high-quality healthcare to these communities across the lifespan.

REPRo draws on expertise from the disciplines of bioethics, psychiatry, psychology, public health, social work, plastic surgery, endocrinology, reproductive medicine, pediatrics, and law. Our group is composed of members of the Division of Medical Ethics, Population Health, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Hansjörg Wyss Department of Plastic Surgery.

REPRo works to promote access to safe and effective patient- and family-centered care and support. To contact this working group, please email: Gwendolyn Quinn at Gwendolyn.Quinn@NYULangone.org.
