The postgraduate continuing medical education (CME) programs offered at NYU Langone’s Department of Neurosurgery cover a wide range of neurosurgical specialties, including treatment for brain tumors, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral nerve surgery, and degenerative spine disease. Types of CME activities include the following.

Neuroendovascular Innovation

This course is a review of the latest innovations in the management of vascular lesions and stroke. It provides clinicians with education that improves patient outcomes, expands on current therapy options, and reduces morbidity and mortality related to stroke and neurovascular diseases.

New York Neurosurgery Update: Clinical Challenges

This course focuses on neurosurgery related to aneurysm management, spinal surgery, pain management, skull base tumor management, brain tumors, and other complex cases for which there may not be solutions based on current medical evidence. Attendees are encouraged to present their own challenging cases.
