Fifth New York Area Cryo-EM Meeting
This series of meetings, started by Greg Alushin, PhD at Rockefeller University and Gira Bhabha, PhD at NYU Langone, has historically been a fantastic forum for trainees and early career faculty from across the tristate area to share and discuss unpublished work at the forefront of cryo-EM & cryo-ET research, in a welcoming and engaging environment. The 2025 meeting is co-organized by William J. Rice, PhD (NYU Langone) and Francesca Vallese, PhD (CUNY Advanced Science Research Center) and will be held in Alumni Hall B at NYU Langone Medical Center.
This meeting is discussion-based (15 min talks + 15 min discussion, as well as posters) and will be focused on unpublished data that spark conversations about the state-of-the art in the cryo-EM/cryo-ET field, including technical challenges and difficult datasets. We aim to include ~140 participants from as many labs as possible located in NYC and the surrounding area (NY, NJ, PA & CT).
Talks and posters will be selected from submitted abstracts. We will prioritize trainees and early career faculty for talks, but attendees at all levels are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
