Emergency Medicine Residency

The mission of the Emergency Medicine Residency offered by NYU Langone’s Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine is to offer the next generation of providers the experience, skills, and vision they need to change emergency medicine.

We accomplish this by creating a safe, diverse, and comprehensive training environment that promotes excellent clinical care, inquisitive scholarship, and compassionate, dedicated public service.

Specifically, we strive to train excellent clinicians capable of functioning in any environment, and ensure a spirit of compassion for all patients, regardless of means, background, or beliefs. We are committed to developing disciplined, hardworking, resilient, and team-oriented providers, and to foster in them a passion for a subspecialty that they can develop into a career.

We give you the tools to succeed. You just need to challenge yourself to achieve the best.
