Advanced Cardiology Fellowships
For fellows who wish to pursue careers in the cardiology subspecialties, NYU Langone’s Leon H. Charney Division of Cardiology offers accredited and nonaccredited fellowship training programs. We invite trainees to explore the following advanced training opportunities.
Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship
Our Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship offers a curriculum of didactics, simulation, and one-on-one procedural training. Fellows also have opportunities to pursue basic, translational, and clinical electrophysiology research.
Interventional Cardiology Fellowship
The highly competitive Interventional Cardiology Fellowship offers training in complex coronary and peripheral arterial diagnostic and interventional procedures. Research is also an integral part of our training program.
Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship
The Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship prepares physicians for academic and clinical careers in this subspecialty. The NYU Langone Transplant Institute is a leader in orthotopic heart and dual organ transplants.
Preventive Cardiology Fellowship
Our nonaccredited Preventive Cardiology Fellowship is offered through NYU Langone’s Center for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease. Trainees learn about primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease in a highly diverse population of patients.
Structural Heart Disease Fellowship
We offer the nonaccredited Structural Heart Disease Fellowship to physicians who have completed interventional cardiology fellowship training or cardiothoracic surgery training. Our program focuses on structural heart disease decision-making and interventions in catheterization laboratory and hybrid operating room.
