Pathology Fellowships
NYU Langone’s Department of Pathology offers advanced subspecialty training to those who have recently completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)–accredited residency program in anatomic pathology or anatomic and clinical pathology.
Our faculty are experts in various pathology subspecialties and provide our trainees with guided mentorship as they launch their careers.
We offer fellowships in the following pathology subspecialties:
- cardiopulmonary pathology
- cytopathology
- gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology
- hematopathology
- molecular pathology
- neuropathology
- uropathology
- women’s pathology
As a fellow, you have access to resources and materials from NYU Langone clinical sites including Tisch Hospital, Kimmel Pavilion, NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, and Perlmutter Cancer Center, as well as from NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. You participate in the evaluation and analysis of a wide range of cases and have the opportunity to participate in translational research projects.
Most fellowship positions are one- or two-year appointments, and many fellowships are ACGME-accredited. Fellows receive a stipend commensurate with their level of training.
