The mission of the Health Evaluation and Analytics Lab (HEAL) is to conduct research and evaluations that assist in the administration of the New York Medicaid program and contribute to national scholarship on health and healthcare.

We aim to be a national resource for improving the health and wellbeing of vulnerable communities and individuals.

What We Do

We work closely with partners—community-based organizations, government agencies, healthcare providers, and researchers—to study healthcare using Medicaid and other administrative data.
