Healthy Communities Symposium

The Healthy Communities Symposium is presented by the NYU Langone Health Clinical and Translational Science Institute in collaboration with NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Department of Population Health, Office of Professional Development, Institute for Excellence in Health Equity, and the National Center for Engagement in Diabetes Research (CEDER). This symposium aims to highlight the current state of population health through the lens of a specific theme and features a keynote address, a series of engaging panels on the work being done to address health across NY communities; a discussion on issues in population health; and a robust poster session with reception.

The event will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, both in-person at 550 First Avenue in the Murphy Auditorium and virtually via Zoom webinar. The Zoom option will be available for every session except the poster session. See registration instructions below.

This year’s theme will focus on strategies for cultivating optimal health for all communities in today’s world.
