Autonomic Disorders

Duration: 2 years. This UCNS accredited fellowship provides intensive training in the diagnosis, evaluation and management of patients with genetic and non-genetic disorders of the autonomic nervous system. The program includes training in performance and interpretation of neurophysiological tests of autonomic nerve function in children and adults as well as participation in clinical trials and research conducted at the Dysautonomia Center and the opportunity to collaborate in basic science research. The fellow will be actively involved in the clinical management of patients and in weekly teaching conferences at the center. Fellow will share in the responsibility of teaching neurology residents rotating through the autonomic laboratory. Eligible candidates must have completed neurology residency training and hold a valid New York State license or a Limited Permit (if not eligible for a New York State medical license) to practice medicine in the State of New York.
