Summer Research Fellowship (SRF) for MD Students
The Summer Research Fellowship (SRF) provides you with an early opportunity to embark on a longitudinal scholarly research experience, develop fundamental skills in research and/or clinical scholarship, and explore the clinical environment relevant to helping you choose and explore your future career and residency interests. This experience (a Kerberos ID is required for login) will take place for six weeks during the summer after your first year of medical school.
The SRF is designed to accelerate your career development, enhance your professional growth, and prepare you to excel as a physician. It also offers a chance to showcase your unique capabilities in residency applications. Participation in the SRF is required for all medical students except Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) students, who are exempt.
