Description: The Department of Pathology at the NYU School of Medicine offers an outstanding opportunity for a one-year fellowship in Uropathology. Facilities: The fellowship offers exposure to material from Tisch Hospital, a 500-bed primary teaching hospital of NYU School of Medicine, as well as from Bellevue and the New York Harbor VA Hospital. The Uropathology division includes four Uropathologists with surgical material provided by a specialized Urology service with an established Uro-oncology service. In addition, a Biorepository in Prostate Cancer and a Urology Center of Research Excellence provide for a suitable environment for translational research.

Requirements: Applicants must have completed a three-year training program in Anatomic Pathology or a four-year program in combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. MUST hold a NY State License/Limited Permit prior to the start date. Please inquire with the Program Manager.

Visas: NYU only offers J-1 visas through the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) to candidates in need of visa sponsorship.
