PrMEIR Innovation Grants Program

The PrMEIR Innovation Grants Program seeks to build institutional capacity in medical education scholarship by providing faculty with funding and technical assistance to pursue new initiatives in education and research. Since 2006, 41 projects that have received funds and assistance through the program.   Former PrMEIR grantees have identified the program as a stepping stone in their careers, and some  grantees have since received fully funded projects based on the pilot data collected from their PrMEIR  project.

The  Dr. Anthony Grieco  Medical Education Research Grant and Murray J. Berenson Patient Provider Communication Grant were established in 2014.

The 2017-2018 funding opportunity is entitled "Resilience & Grit: Pursuing Organizational Change & Sustainable Satisfying Careers".

RFP Timeline:

February 6th 2017: LOIs for the call are due on February 6th, 2017

March 1, 2017: Notices of invitation to submit a full award disseminated

May 1, 2017: Full applications due

June 1, 2017 (on or aroud): Notice of Award

July 1, 2017: Project Start Date
