The NYU neuroscience community convened on April 4-5, 2019, for the 12th Annual Neuroscience Retreat at NYU Langone. We encouraged all members of the community to attend the retreat to learn about research from across the neuroscience community and to connect with colleagues. The two-day retreat featured a number of short talks and breakout sessions that represent a cross-section of the collaborative and innovative research taking place at NYU and NYU Langone. We also hosted a special edition of “Growing Up In Science” with our keynote speaker, Leslie Vosshall, PhD, Howard Hughes Medical Investigator (HHMI) at The Rockefeller University; a panel discussion on science advocacy and neuroscience; and poster sessions that provided many opportunities for networking.
The 13th Annual Neuroscience Retreat will be held April 29-May 1, 2020, at the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, New York. Our keynote speaker will be Catherine Dulac, PhD, Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator, Harvard University.
Additional information and the agenda for our 2020 retreat will be forthcoming. If you have questions, please email Rihan Hassad, MPH, senior project coordinator, at email@example.com.
