Observer Program

The Center offers select physicians from the US and abroad the opportunity to observe in the Dysautonomia Laboratory at NYU Langone Medical Center. Observers will have the opportunity to enhance their understanding of autonomic disorders and increase their knowledge of autonomic testing at one of the few centers in the world specializing in autonomic disorders.

NYU Langone Dysautonomia Center has a diverse group of staff and faculty who specialize in the research and treatment of patients with autonomic dysfunction, including those with Parkinson disease, multiple system atrophy, familial dysautonomia, pure autonomic failure, diabetes, auto-immune autonomic conditions, heart failure, and neurally mediated syncope. Our Division provides both out-patient and in-patient autonomic service.  The Observer will rotate in the clinic and have the opportunity to participate in research activities.
